Completed Projects
Karacabey
Karacabey exploration license acquired in the third quarter of 2011. After ATLI acquired exploration license executed geological, non-seismic geophysical, surface geochemistry works and shooted 2D seismic. Regarding the results and correlation of mentioned works ATLI drilled 2465 m ATLI BURSA – 1 well. In spite of gas and oil shows encountered in ATLI BURSA – 1 well ATLI left the exploration license by deciding that it is uneconomical.
Samsun
Samsun exploration license acquired in the third quarter of 2011. After ATLI acquired exploration license executed geological, non-seismic geophysical, surface geochemistry works and shooted 2D seismic.
Regarding the results and correlation of mentioned works ATLI drilled 2533 m ATLI AVUT – 1 well to reach the Çağlayan formation (Aptian – Albian). Although gas and oil shows encountered in ATLI BURSA – 1 well, ATLI left the exploration license to evaluate in later projects.
ATLI AVUT-1 well still the only well at the East of Sinop that penetrated the Çağlayan formation which is the most important and promising formation regarding both source and reservoir rock.
Silifke
Silifke exploration license acquired in the third quarter of 2011. After ATLI acquired exploration license executed geological, non-seismic geophysical, surface geochemistry works and shooted 2D seismic. Regarding the results and correlation of mentioned works ATLI drilled ATLI GÖKSU – 1 well which was initially planned as 2200 m. Although gas shows encountered, well abondoned for technical reasons. Silifke exploration license was left to evaluate in later projects.
ATLI GÖKSU-1 well still the only Paleozoic targeted well in the area.

Geology
In the license area, that the intrusive and volcanic sediment outcrops can be widely seen, there are three types of granite intrusion presents. As observed in the field, mineralization had occurred with the activities after this intrusions as a vein type by the hydrothermal activities across to tectonic lines in different directions. Also, at the west edge of the aplitic granite, there are some signs to close skarn paragenesis. According to the macro samples the main ore mineral is chalcopyrite, and according to the chemical analysis it is gold, can be said. According to mentioned chemical analyse results Au values varies between 0,001 ppm to 51 ppm and Cu values varies up to %9.
Tectonic :In Eastern Black Sea region, folds and fractures are dominated accross the East-Northeast direction. Secondarily, Northwest and North – South directions can be seen. Dome like structures has affected these directions in these areas. Based on the satellite works that have been done by ATLI, there are three dome like structure around the license area.
Mineralisation : As it is stated before, license area is covered by intrusive and volcanic sedimentary rocks. These levels were fractured in different directions, and mineralisation occured in these fractures as a vein and veinlet types. According to initial observations there is a hydrothermal vein type mineralisation, and according to the mineral paragenesis these mineralisation occured in catathermal – mesothermal phase. Hematite and chalcopyrite veins can be traced accross the tectonic lines inside the license area.
Performed Studies
Field Studies : Although the area is steep, the team went to every place as long as they can, and they collected about 200 rock samples and sent to ALS for PGM-ICP-24 and Me-MS41 analysis and also to mineralogy labaratory to define the mineral composition and origin of the mineralisation and alteration. As a result of this field work, field work report is written (in Turkish), geological and mine maps (with the help of analyse results) were created with a scale of 1/5000.
IP & Resistivity and Magnetic: To be able determine sulphide zones 12.6 km Ip & Rezistivity (3 lines & 6 Crosses) and magnetic work (25 m interval, 450 points) were shooted. According to the results of this work high sulfur containing zones were detected, and by correlating these results with magnetic anomaly maps and geology well locations were decided.
Drilling Works : Regarding the results of GnG works approximately 3000 m core drilling realised in14 wells. The well log determinations done and the cores were sent to ALS for analysis for every 2 meter interval. According to the results, some continuous mineralisation zones detected.
The Concession block that ATLI acquired at the second quarter of 2012, lies at the approximately 5 km North of 50th km of İspir (Erzurum) – Yusufeli (Artvin) where the intrusive and volcanic sedimentary rocks outcropped. The area of the license is 19,68 square kilometer (19,68 hectare).
Others
Besides the exploration licences that mentioned above, ATLI acquired licences almost in every region of Turkey during the years 2010 – 2015, executed necessary GnG works for in every acquired license and left the unprospective ones by delivering all the obtained data to GDPA.
